The Sales Executive’s role is to generate new client revenue and grow existing relationships using a combination of consultative selling and challenger sales techniques to build advisor relationships with clients. Sellers are supported by our marketing team with best in class demand generation, nurture programs, customer marketing and pipeline acceleration. Sales development reps help set appointments for you from marketing leads.

 

Compensation is limited only by your performance. We offer a competitive and rewarding commission plan with mid and end of year incentive bonuses (in addition to commission plan). We have great benefits including a 401k program with generous immediate company match.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

 

 

  • Research, qualify and close sales opportunities in assigned territory. Prospect accounts to schedule phone and in-person appointments.
  • Become an expert in our products and their value proposition in the marketplace. Advocate for Aberdeen with prospective customers.
  • Manage all stages of the sales process from identification to closure and track progress in Salesforce.com.
  • Forecast expected bookings and revenue based on pipeline activity.
  • Work collaboratively with the research team to bring in business, be a strong team member and enjoy winning in a team environment.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales performance objectives.
  • Performance measurements include monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales objectives as well as activity measures for prospecting of calls, emails and social media outreaches.

Qualifications

 

 

  • 3+ years of demonstrable consultative sales success in a role requiring prospecting, cold-calling, analyzing, and closing new business.
  • Must be comfortable discussing business value, ROI, marketing strategy and general business conditions; know how sales, marketing, and business development work together to achieve revenue goals.
  • Must be knowledgeable of B2B marketing and sales functions and strategies used to target new business opportunities.
  • Must have proven success consistently achieving and exceeding sales performance objectives.
  • Prior experience selling business or marketing services directly to decision makers in sales or marketing organizations is preferred.
  • Good sense of humor, ability to chat-up.
  • Self-Starter who holds a competitive passion, creativity, and confidence at all levels.
  • Team player attitude.
  • Holds themselves accountable for consistently exceeding results.
